If you provide your ORCID ID when submitting an article for review, your ORCID profile will automatically update and add the entry with the metadata of the article after its publication.

To configure the automatic function you have to do the following:

1. Check your email of your ORCID profile, there should be an email with a request for access to your data. Crossref is a non – profit organization that provides services of data registration of the article and assigns a permanent identification number – a DOI to enhance the visibility and citation of your articles.
2. Grant Crossref and everytime when you publish articles in journals with a Crossref membership (there are more than 7000), providing your ORCID ID to your profile data will be automatically updated without your participation.
